Under the new BGA rules for competitions in 1996 it will be mandatory for every pilot to carry a Flight Recorder.
Validation of all flights will be by computer analysis and evidence from Flight Recorders may be used to verify any possible airspace infringements.
Flight Recorders are now used for primary evidence with cameras used only for back up evidence.
