Love it! I wonder what an "emergency landing" would look like and how much ammo the examiner would have to bring along. ---------- From: James Klick[SMTP:klick at aps.anl.gov] Sent: Wednesday, December 16, 1998 7:49 AM To: iac at lists.handmadesw.com Cc: grg at aps.anl.gov Subject: [IAC] Santa Humor Here's an oldie that someone resurrected and sent me. Santa was in the process of loading his sleigh on Christmas Eve when a stranger approached and said: "I'm from the FAA and will be riding with you tonight". Santa knew that this was something that the FAA does to all commercial operators, and he had to comply, even though it would foul up his weght and balance calculations and slow down his whole trip. After reviewing all of Santa's w&b numbers, and watching him pre-flight the sleigh, the FAA guy climbs aboard, and after fastening his seatbelt, reached into his carry-on bag and pulled out a shotgun. An astonished Santa said: "What in the world is that for?" The examiner winked, and said: "I'm not supposed to tell you this, but you're going to lose one on takeoff". And a happy holiday to you all.
