talk to unison they do have the stc for the pitts S2B, they are listed near the end of the approved list i think under air science inc. or some funny name aviat used to license some of the certified models, &yes it does improve starting there are very good directions on converting however the mechanic needs to be pretty sharp with wiring directions to convert it, good luck.

Thanks very much for the help!! I had called Unison and spoke with the piston engine tech guys and they said there was no STC for Pitts. I had only looked on the STC paperwork for Pitts, Aviat, Christen, etc. I read your e-mail and rechecked the aircraft model names/numbers - and there were all of the Pitts models under Sky International. Who wuda thunk? So that is a big relief for me. Thanks again.
