I have a Headsets Inc. kit in a Flightsuits Ltd helmet. I bought the kit and had it installed from Flightsuits. I experimented with it for several hours in my Pitts and found it unuseable due to severe squealing and popping. I called Flightsuits and they recommend I remove the ANR modules and turn a pot on the back of the circuit board about a 1/4 turn. Now it works flawlessly. However, with that being said, if I had to do it again, I would purchase a modified David Clark from Meyers Aviation (www.dipple.com/jmeyer 616-896-9858) and put it in a David Clark K-Helmet. The headset is a specially made version that I compared with the ANR David Clarks and found to be much quieter in my S1S despite its lack of ANR. Total cash outlay would be less than half of what the flightsuits ltd helmet costs and it works really well in a Pitts, at least as quite as my current helmet, and perhaps even a little bit better. Good Flying, Josh P.
