The following is a list of files in this index/document that contain Federal
Aviation Administration (FAA) documents pertaining to sport aviation events and
related activities.

SPORT PARACHUTE JUMPING
This Advisory Circular (AC) provides suggestions to improve sport
parachuting safety and disseminates information to assist all parties
associated with sport parachuting in complying with Federal Aviation
Regulations (FAR) Part 105, Parachute Jumping. It also contains a
list of aircraft which may be operated with one cabin door removed and
includes procedures for obtaining FAA authorization with door removal.

WAIVERS: AVIATION EVENTS
This AC provides prospective aviation event sponsors and other
interested parties with information necessary to assist in planning
and conducting a safe aviation event. In addition, it provides
information on the application process for a Certificate of Waiver or
Authorization.

ACROBATICS - PRECISION FLYING WITH A PURPOSE
This advisory circular provides information to
persons who are interested in acrobatics to improve their piloting
skills in recreation, sport, or competitive activity. It also
discusses FAR pertaining to acrobatic aircraft airworthiness
considerations, acrobatic instruction, operations, and acrobatic
flight safety.

A HAZARD IN AEROBATICS: EFFECTS OF G-FORCES ON PILOTS
This AC provides background
information on gravitational forces, their effect on the human body,
and their role in safe flying. Suggestions are offered for avoiding
problems caused by accelerations encountered in aerobatic maneuvering.

These
are documents that provide information that has not been incorporated
into other, more permanent FAA directives. When one of the other
documents in this subdirectory is revised to incorporate the
information found in a bulletin, letter, or memorandum, the later will
be deleted from this file.

FLIGHT AUTHORIZATIONS FOR NON-U.S. AIRCRAFT
This notice provides
information and guidance to aviation safety inspectors in the issuance
of special airworthiness certificates and operating limitations for
the subject aircraft; approval of aircraft inspection programs for
large and jet powered experimental aircraft; and issuance of letters
of authorization for persons to operate large and turbine-powered
experimental aircraft. This notice also provides guidance for issuing
special flight authorizations for non-U.S. civil aircraft under
Section 91.715 of the FAR.
These files contain text only - the figures (graphics) are not
available through this bulletin board. If needed, figures can be
obtained from various industry groups and organization, or local FAA
Flight Standards Field Offices (FSDO).
